High Bickington

High Bickington is a rural settlement in North Devon, close to the market town of Umberleigh. Accommodation in the area includes contemporary self-catering lodges set within a small complex. The Wood Lodge is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom property sleeping four, arranged across two floors. Downstairs, a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, DeLonghi coffee machine and microwave sits alongside a dining area and both bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-size bed with an en-suite shower room; the other has twin beds served by a separate bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The upper floor at The Wood Lodge holds the living room, which opens onto a private balcony with outdoor seating. Inside, an L-shaped sofa, Smart TV, DVD player and pool/ping-pong table make for a relaxed stay. Guests may also use the shared outdoor swimming pool within the complex during the summer months. A small secure shed provides bike storage, and there is private parking for one car. One dog is welcome.
