Little Silver Fox

Little Silver Fox is a shepherd's hut set within an orchard on a smallholding near High Bickington, reached by three steps up from ground level. The single studio room holds a king-size bed, a foldaway dining table and a wood-burning stove, and sleeps 2.

A shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC completes the accommodation. The kitchen has an electric oven and two-ring hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a Nespresso machine and a Smart TV, and heating comes from electric underfloor heating alongside the stove.

Outside, a private lawned garden has a patio, seating and a private hot tub, plus a chiminea that doubles as a barbecue. Guests reach the hut from a shared car park with a golf buggy provided for transport; off-road parking there also has an electric vehicle charging point, though a fee applies and is arranged directly with the owners.

The hut does not accept children or infants, and pets are not permitted. Three steps lead up to the entrance, which may not suit guests with limited mobility. Bed linen, towels and bathrobes are included in the rent, and logs for the stove are supplied, with more available to buy on site. The shop and pub are around 1.7 miles away.
