The Wood Lodge

The Wood Lodge sits within a complex of contemporary lodges near High Bickington, a quiet village in North Devon's inland countryside. It sleeps four across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with private parking for one car and one dog permitted (additional charges may apply).

The ground floor holds both bedrooms and bathrooms alongside the kitchen and dining area. The king-size bedroom has a directly adjoining en-suite with a large shower and WC, while the twin bedroom is served by the family bathroom across the hall, fitted with a shower over the bath and WC. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, DeLonghi coffee machine and microwave, with the dining table seating all four guests.

Upstairs, the living space opens onto a private balcony with outdoor seating, well-suited to meals outside or watching the countryside views unfold. Back inside, a large L-shaped sofa faces the Smart TV, and there is also a DVD player and a pool/ping-pong table in the lounge. A small secure shed at the rear provides bike storage.

Guests have access to the communal outdoor swimming pool located up the track, open during the summer months only. Woodland trails are accessible directly from the complex, and a shop is around 2 miles away with a pub approximately 1.5 miles away. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
