The Cider Barn

This reverse-level holiday home near High Bickington arranges both bedrooms on the ground floor, keeping sleeping quarters separate from the main living space above. One bedroom has a king-size bed with en-suite wet room and WC; the other provides a king zip-and-link bed, convertible to twin singles by request at the time of booking, with en-suite bathroom, shower over bath and WC. Loft-inspired stairs lead up to the living area, so all guests will navigate them for access to the kitchen and lounge.

Upstairs, a large open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area forms the main gathering space. The kitchen includes electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer. A wood burner warms the room (first basket of logs supplied; additional baskets available to purchase on site), and underfloor heating provides background warmth throughout. A Smart TV handles evening entertainment.

Outside, the fully enclosed garden and patio offer seating, a BBQ and fire pit for evening use. Ample off-road parking and on-site electric vehicle charging are provided. A village with pubs and a community shop lies roughly 1 mile away; the nearest beach is 16 miles distant. Supermarket deliveries can be arranged. Three dogs are welcome, with additional charges potentially applying, and dog-walking fields are available on the doorstep.

The property sleeps 4 guests. Travel cot and highchair are available, and towels are included. Arrival is from 16:30; departure is before 10:00.
