Beer, near Seaton in South Devon, has a small collection of holiday properties suited to couples, families, and groups. Beer Lace Shop is one of the village’s older cottages, sleeping eight across four bedrooms (two doubles and two twins spread over three floors), with an inglenook fireplace housing a wood burner, a recently extended kitchen, and a landscaped rear garden with a gas BBQ and rattan dining furniture; up to three dogs are welcome.

Admirals View is a first-floor apartment just off Fore Street with a south-facing balcony and sea views, three bedrooms including a king-size en-suite and a bunk room with a toy box, plus a utility room, Nintendo Wii U, and a library of games and books. Parking covers two cars, one in a lockable garage. Both have arrival from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
