9 West View

This traditional terraced fisherman's cottage sits in Beer, with a downhill walk leading to the village amenities below. Inside, the lounge and dining area retains restored parquet flooring and original features, with sumptuous sofas arranged around a wood burner for cooler evenings. The first basket of logs is included, with further supplies available for a fee. A trunk of books, maps, games and DVDs is provided, alongside a Smart TV with Netflix and a DVD player.

The cottage sleeps five across three bedrooms. The king-size room offers views towards Beer and can be configured as a twin on request via zip-and-link beds. There is also a double room and a single room, the latter able to take an additional trundle bed for a sixth sleeper if requested at the time of booking. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, and there is a separate WC on the ground floor styled with a nautical, captain's-cabin theme.

The kitchen is equipped for family cooking, with a dishwasher, washing machine, hob, cooker, fridge with ice box, and a filter coffee machine with milk frother. A separate utility room houses an additional fridge. The enclosed patio is attached directly to the cottage rather than set across the lane like neighbouring outdoor spaces, and seats six with a parasol and views over the village, church and towards the sea. A disposable barbecue is available, and garden furniture is provided.

A parking permit is supplied for the Central Beer car park a short walk from the cottage, with further roadside parking on Long Hill subject to restrictions. Internet access is available throughout. A travel cot and a highchair booster seat can be requested in advance, and fishing nets, bodyboards, a windbreak and portable tables are available to borrow. Towels for the bathroom are included, though guests should bring their own beach towels. Dogs are not permitted at this property.
