Sampford Courtenay

A converted barn with a hot tub in the Devon countryside

Sampford Courtenay is a village in Devon with a pub and a network of footpaths close by. Barn at Little Greenslade is a converted barn sleeping four guests across two ground-floor bedrooms: a king-size room with an en-suite shower room and WC, and a twin zip-and-link that can be made up as a king-size on request. The open-plan kitchen and dining area comes equipped with a gas range oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, while an adjacent utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer.

A central wood burner anchors the kitchen and dining space, and a galleried landing above provides a quieter sitting area with a TV, DVD player, and PlayStation 4. A separate lounge, reached through French doors, opens via bi-folding doors onto an enclosed patio with garden furniture, a charcoal BBQ, and a private hot tub, beyond which stretches a lawned garden with ample off-road parking to the front. Up to two dogs are welcome, and a shared paddock adjacent to the property is available for exercising them.
