Little Greenslade

Little Greenslade sits near Sampford Courtenay, a short drive from Okehampton, with Dartmoor National Park within easy reach. This is a traditional cottage with low beams, split levels and sloping cottage-style stairs, so guests should be aware of uneven floors and some rooms reached via steps.

The ground floor opens into a utility area with a shower, separate WC, washing machine and tumble dryer, useful after a day on the moors. The kitchen has a gas range oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and a Belfast sink, and there is a dining room with an inglenook fireplace and wood burner (first basket of logs included). A separate lounge and a games room with darts, table football and a PlayStation 4 complete the ground floor, with French doors leading out to a patio.

Upstairs, four bedrooms sleep seven in total: a small double, a double bedroom accessed from one side only, a twin with TV, and a king-size master with TV and an en-suite steam shower room. A further bathroom with a roll-top bath and WC serves the remaining bedrooms.

Outside there is an enclosed patio with garden furniture and a barbecue, plus a larger cottage garden with lawn and an unfenced pond, so care is needed with children and pets as the garden is not fully secured. A decked area holds a private hot tub and sauna. Off-road parking is available on site, though there is no electric vehicle charging point at the property. Up to three dogs can stay, with additional charges, and a shared dog walking paddock is accessible along a short road walk. A stairgate and travel cot are available for younger visitors.
