Langdale Barn

Langdale Barn is a detached, single-storey barn conversion next to the owner's home in Sampford Courtenay, a Devon village close to Okehampton and the edge of Dartmoor National Park. The barn sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and one bathroom, all on the ground floor.

Both bedrooms are super-king-size with zip/link beds that convert to twins, each with its own TV, and share a bathroom with a bath and a separate walk-in shower. The open-plan living room has a woodburning stove, a picnic-basket-style table and an exposed stone wall, next to a kitchen with cream units and a dishwasher.

Off-road parking is provided for 2 small cars, and there's an electric car charging port, available at an additional cost by arrangement with the owner. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and a washing machine covers longer stays.

Outside, an enclosed lawn garden has a patio and seating, with a footpath leading into the owner's field and down to a lake that guests are welcome to explore, though children need supervising near the water. One well-behaved pet is welcome, on a lead, as there is livestock on site. A pub is half a mile away and the barn is strictly no smoking.
