Sunday Cottage

Sunday Cottage is a renovated former Sunday School in the village of Sampford Courtenay, around 2.4 miles from North Tawton on the edge of Dartmoor. Set over two floors, it sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and one bathroom, with a private courtyard at the front of the property.

The sitting room has a woodburning stove and a Smart TV, and three steps lead up into the kitchen/diner, fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Oil central heating, fuel, power and a starter pack for the woodburner are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels.

Both bedrooms are at the top of the stairs, a king-size and a super king zip/link, both with plenty of storage, sharing a bathroom with a freestanding bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC. A highchair, travel cot and stairgate are available on request for younger guests.

Outside, a rear patio with furniture sits beyond the kitchen steps, with a few steps out to the garden to bear in mind when booking. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, smoking is not permitted, and parking is on the road. The shop is 2.4 miles away and the pub 0.3 miles, with the village pub, the New Inn, a short walk from the door. Okehampton, around 7.5 miles off, has the Museum of Dartmoor Life and Okehampton Castle for a day out.
