This converted barn sits on the B3215 near Sampford Courtenay, with Dartmoor National Park reachable in around 4.5 miles and Okehampton's market, cinema and supermarkets a short drive away. The village pub is less than half a mile along a busy road. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.

The open-plan kitchen/diner is the heart of the property, with a gas range oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and Dolce Gusto coffee machine, plus tiled flooring with underfloor heating throughout this area. A utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. A central wood burner (first basket of logs included) warms the dining and social space, which also fits a table football table. A galleried lounge above holds a TV, DVD player and PlayStation 4, while the separate ground-floor lounge, reached through French doors, has a large Smart TV and bi-folding doors opening to the garden.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor: the king-size room has an en-suite shower room with WC, and the twin room uses a zip-and-link setup convertible to a king-size on request. A family bathroom with shower over bath and WC serves the second bedroom. The barn sleeps four; two dogs are welcome, with an adjacent shared paddock available for exercising them.

Outside, a private hot tub and charcoal BBQ sit on an enclosed patio with garden furniture, and a lawned garden extends beyond. Ample private off-road parking is at the front. There are no EV charging facilities on-site; the nearest point is Whitehouse Garage in Okehampton, approximately 4 miles away. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
