Harracott

Harracott sits near the town of Barnstaple in North Devon, and it’s here that Mavis Cottage and Austen Cottage at Swanmoor Grange are found, both reached via a narrow country lane. Each cottage forms part of a farm estate offering walking trails, river-edge paths, woodland and wild flower meadows for guests to explore, along with a fenced dog exercise paddock close to the properties.

Mavis Cottage sleeps four across two king-size bedrooms, each with its own en-suite. The open-plan living space brings together a wooden-panelled kitchen, diner and lounge with a wall-mounted Smart TV and pebble-effect electric fire, opening onto a rear courtyard garden with a charcoal BBQ and a private hot tub.

Austen Cottage offers a similar open-plan layout, with a king-size bedroom and a super-king zip-and-link room that can convert to twins, both en-suite. Guests have use of two separate courtyard gardens, one with outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ, plus a private hot tub in its own enclosure. Both cottages allow up to two dogs and provide off-road parking for two cars.
