Little Wick Cottage

Little Wick Cottage sits within the small hamlet of Harracott, adjoining the owners' thatched farmhouse and set amongst shared gardens in the North Devon countryside. It sleeps four across two bedrooms, making it a suitable base for a couple travelling with family or friends, and one dog is welcome to join the stay, though additional charges may apply.

Inside, an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner greets you on entry, with low ceilings and exposed beams giving the space plenty of country character. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge/freezer, while the dining area leads through to a comfortable lounge with sofa, chairs and a Smart TV. An open tread oak staircase climbs to the first floor, where a king-size bedroom sits alongside a second room with a 2'6" zip-and-link twin bed that can be converted to a king-size if requested at the time of booking. A single bathroom, fitted with a shower over the bath and a WC, serves both bedrooms.

Outside, a small lawn with table and chairs sits directly in front of the cottage, with steps leading up to shared gardens featuring a gazebo, seating and a fishpond, so children and pets need supervision here. Guests also have access to a large, enclosed shared dog exercising field and an adjoining small wooded area with seating, both useful for those travelling with dogs or children who enjoy outdoor space. Parking is allocated for one car only, which is worth noting for anyone bringing a second vehicle.

This cottage can also be booked alongside neighbouring properties sleeping a further twelve guests for larger group stays, so it's worth enquiring if you need more space. Internet access is available throughout, and practicalities such as a travel cot and highchair are provided for younger visitors. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out before 10am.
