Dobbin Cottage

Dobbin Cottage stands at Harracott, near Barnstaple, one of four properties on the site with contemporary styling throughout. A small footbridge crosses a man-made stream to reach the front door, which opens into an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner. The lounge has a sofa, chairs and a Smart TV, while the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer.

The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms: a king-size room and a zip-and-link twin with 2'6" beds, which can be converted to a king-size bed if requested at the time of booking. A single shower room with a large walk-in shower enclosure and WC serves both bedrooms; there is no separate bathroom.

Outside, an enclosed rear and side courtyard offers seating for al fresco dining with a gate leading directly onto a large shared dog walking field, useful for anyone travelling with a dog. Guests also have access to shared gardens with a fishpond and a shared gazebo with tables, chairs and lighting, though children and pets need supervision around the pond. One dog is permitted, with additional charges applying.

Parking is available for one car only, and shops and pubs in Barnstaple are a few miles away. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request, making this a workable base for a family with a young child. This property can also be booked together with neighbouring properties sleeping a further 12 guests for larger group stays. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
