Filly Cottage

Filly Cottage sits at Harracott, on the outskirts of Barnstaple, and sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms. A king-size room and a zip-and-link twin, which can be converted to a king by request at the time of booking, sit alongside a single family bathroom fitted with a bath, overhead shower and WC.

Guests enter across a small man-made stream into an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining space. The lounge has a sofa, chairs and a Smart TV, while the kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request, making the layout workable for families travelling with young children.

One dog is permitted, with additional charges possibly applying, and the cottage has its own enclosed rear courtyard with seating that opens directly onto a large exercise field. Beyond this, guests can use shared gardens with lawns, mature shrubs and a fishpond, so children and pets need supervision there. A shared gazebo with tables, chairs and lighting is also available, along with a shared dog-washing facility offering a hot water shower and a low-level Belfast sink for cleaning up after muddy walks.

Parking is allocated for one car on site, and internet access is provided. The property sits within countryside around Codden Hill, with Barnstaple's shops and pubs around five miles away. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am, and towels are included for the stay.
