Teign River Retreat

Teign River Retreat is a single-storey lodge in the Clifford Bridge Lodges development, close to the River Teign on the edge of Dartmoor National Park near Drewsteignton. Several steps lead up to the entrance despite the single-storey layout, worth knowing if anyone in your group has limited mobility. The lodge sleeps 4 across two bedrooms.

The king-size bedroom has its own en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, while the twin room is served by a separate family bathroom with a bath, handheld shower, basin and WC. Living space is open-plan, taking in a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with a separate utility room alongside.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine, and there's a TV with Freesat plus WiFi for evenings in. Heating, fuel and power are all included in the rent, and a travel cot and highchair can be requested ahead of your stay.

Outside, an enclosed wrap-around deck with furniture wraps the lodge, a good spot to sit out once the day's walking is done. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars. The River Teign runs close to the site, so young children need supervising near the water, and the property does not allow pets or smoking. The nearest shop is 3.4 miles away, the pub 2.9 miles, with Moretonhampstead the closest town at 3.5 miles.
