Primrose Cottage

Primrose Cottage is a thatched, Grade II listed cottage in the heart of Drewsteignton, next to the village churchyard. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, reached by steep stairs from the sitting room, and keeps low ceilings and doorways throughout.

The sitting room has exposed beams and an open fire, with a starter pack of fuel provided, and steps lead down to a separate snug. The kitchen has an electric two-oven AGA with hot plate and induction hob, alongside a smart oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher, plus a dining area.

Upstairs, the king-size bedroom has a double-aspect view and a lofty ceiling, and the twin room sits alongside; both share the bathroom, which has a bath, a shower over the bath, basin and WC. Bed linen and towels are included, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

A small enclosed garden at the front has a table and chairs on the patio, a spot to watch the village go by. Roadside and public car parking is available nearby. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and guests are asked to bring their own beach and dog towels. The village pub is around 0.1 miles away, and the cottage is no smoking. Weekly bookings must start on a Saturday, and short breaks must also fall within a Saturday-to-Saturday period.
