Bowbeer Barn

Bowbeer Barn is a detached, two-bedroom barn conversion on a working beef and sheep farm, just over a mile from the Devon village of Drewsteignton, which has its own community-owned pub. It sleeps 4 across two downstairs bedrooms, a super king-size double and a twin, each with its own en-suite bathroom or shower room.

Upstairs, the open-plan living space has oak floors, a seating area with a wood burning stove, a dining area and a kitchen. A microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with DVD, Amazon Fire Stick and WiFi are provided, with fuel and power included in the rent. Steps from the garden lead up into the living space, with a lobby for coats and boots below.

The enclosed garden has a barbecue and long rural views towards Dartmoor, and guests are welcome to fish for carp in the small farm pond, or bring rods to try the fields beyond. Off-road parking is provided for three cars, and a highchair and cot are available on request. The market town of Chagford and the city of Exeter are both within reach for a wider choice of shops and restaurants.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a charge for a second dog, and the owner's own farm dogs are also part of the setting. Smoking is not permitted, and a returnable bond applies.
