Little Torr

Little Torr is a studio-style property on the fringes of Dartmoor National Park, around 2 miles from the village of Drewsteignton. The open-plan room has high vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, and combines a king-size bed, kitchen, dining area and sitting area in one space, with a shower room off to the side with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge, and there are two TVs with WiFi, including one built into the bed's footboard. Central heating covers the property, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Outside, a large lawn garden has chairs and a charcoal barbecue, with long views over the surrounding countryside. Off-road parking is provided for two cars. Drewsteignton itself has a pub about 1.5 miles away, though its village shop is currently closed, and Castle Drogo, a National Trust property, is within reach along with walks around the Teign Gorge.

Chagford, about 3.6 miles off, has an outdoor swimming pool, a cafe and a gallery of local artwork, while Okehampton, around 11 miles away, has the ruins of Okehampton Castle and walking trails including the Tarka Trail and the Granite Way. Dartmoor National Park itself is close by for moorland walks up to the granite Tors.

No pets are allowed, and smoking is not permitted. All bookings must run Friday to Friday, so guests need to plan arrival and departure around that changeover day.
