Sunvale

Sunvale is a mid-terraced cottage in Teignmouth, around an 8-minute walk from the beach and 5 minutes from the town's shops and pubs. A dining table seats six in the open kitchen/diner, which has a breakfast bar for a quick coffee in the morning, and the sitting room sits alongside it downstairs, recently refurbished in a grey and white finish.

Upstairs, the king-size double bedroom and the single bedroom share a family bathroom with bath and shower. A courtyard opens off the sitting room through patio doors, a spot to sit out between exploring the working harbour, Victorian pier and seafront a short walk away.

The kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, with a TV, Freeview, Amazon Fire Stick, DVD player and WiFi for evenings in, plus a selection of books, games and DVDs. Heating is gas central heating, and an external utility room adds extra storage.

Sunvale doesn't take pets, and smoking isn't permitted. Between April and September the property only accepts weekly bookings starting on a Saturday. Shop, town centre and pub are all around a 5-minute walk away, and the beach front is around 8 minutes on foot. Teignmouth's Victorian pier, sailing club and diving centre are all within easy reach, with views across to the village of Shaldon on the far side of the estuary.
