Back Beach Cottage

This pink fisherman's cottage sits on a quiet street in central Teignmouth, fifty metres from the Back Beach and its working harbour. Renovated in autumn 2024, it sleeps four across two bedrooms: a king-size and a twin, served by one bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The open-plan lounge and dining room has a large L-shaped sofa, a round dining table and a Smart TV for evenings in. A stone chimney breast with a coal-effect gas stove adds warmth to the space. The galley kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, double oven, air fryer, dishwasher and coffee machine, plus a small breakfast bar for two. A washing machine is tucked under the stairs, fibre broadband runs throughout, and a travel cot and clip-on highchair are available on request.

To the rear, an enclosed private courtyard gives a sheltered spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. Parking is by permit: a council car park permit is provided for Teignbridge Council car parks in Teignmouth, with the nearest around 200 metres from the cottage. You can drive up to the property to unload before parking. Availability is subject to the car parks, and no dogs are accepted.

The Town Beach is around 300 metres on foot, and the seafront promenade connects to the Victorian pier and an open-air heated lido further along.
