Shaldon Beach Hut 2

This beach hut accommodates two guests in a single king-size bed positioned on a mezzanine level, reached by steep stairs. Children under 12 cannot be accommodated for safety reasons, and dogs are not permitted. Private parking for one car is available on site. A shop and pub are both within 250 metres.

Bi-fold doors open the living area to the sea breeze, and a galley kitchen is equipped with a microwave, hob and fridge for self-catering. The bathroom contains a shower and WC. Underfloor heating and a smart TV complete the interior, and towels and internet access are included. Arrival is from 14:30 and departure before 10:30.

An enclosed terrace fronts the property with garden furniture for breakfast or an evening drink. A ladder at the front gives direct access to the beach. The village of Shaldon has cafes, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance, and the South West Coast Path passes through the village for those wanting to explore the Devon coastline on foot.

The steep mezzanine stairs mean this hut is best suited to guests who are comfortable with a ladder-style climb to bed. The compact layout has been designed to make the most of the available space, and the bi-fold doors mean the inside and outside feel well connected when the weather allows.
