Quay cottage

Quay Cottage stands in the centre of Salcombe, close enough to the harbour to reach the shops and restaurants on foot and only a short drive from Kingsbridge. The cottage sleeps 4 across a double bedroom and a twin room, the twin better suited to children given its smaller proportions, and shares a single shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and heated towel rail.

Downstairs, the living and dining room has plush sofas and a table for four, with the compact kitchen fitted for everyday cooking. Stairs lead up to both bedrooms. Outside is a gravelled seating area with furniture, a spot for a meal outdoors, though neighbouring properties also share access across this space, so it is not private.

Electric central heating and underfloor heating keep the cottage warm, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box and dishwasher. A Smart TV and WiFi are provided, along with a hairdryer, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Quay Cottage takes one small, well-behaved dog. There is no allocated parking; drop-off is roadside only, with public parking nearby, subject to seasonal restrictions. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop and pub are both 0.1 miles away, with the beach 1.3 miles further on, making this a compact, central base for exploring the town.
