14 Combehaven is a second-floor apartment in Salcombe, reached by lift from the covered parking area below. The open-plan sitting and dining room seats four at the table, with two sofas and a coal-effect gas fire for the cooler evenings, and the apartment sleeps four across two bedrooms.

The king-size bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, with under-floor heating and a heated towel rail, while the twin room is served by the second bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over and the same under-floor heating. A furnished balcony opens off the living space, looking out across the estuary, a good spot for a coffee before the day's plans.

The New England-style kitchen has black granite worktops and a full run of appliances: a gas hob and oven, a dishwasher, a combined washer/dryer and a microwave. The sitting room has a TV with Freeview and DVD, and WiFi covers the flat. Bed linen and towels are provided for every stay.

Off-road parking for two cars sits in a covered area below the building, and the shop and pub are a five-minute walk. No pets are allowed, and smoking is not permitted inside the building or on the balcony; boats, trailers and barbecues are also excluded from the parking area. Children need supervising on the balcony at all times.
