Early Mist Cottage

Early Mist Cottage stands in Haytor Vale, next door to the Rock Inn and close to Haytor on the eastern edge of Dartmoor National Park. Spread over three floors, it sleeps 8 across four bedrooms, though the second-floor twin room is suitable for children only, so a maximum of 6 adults is accepted.

The first floor has a super-king-size bedroom and a double, sharing a bathroom with a bath and an adjacent shower room. A further flight of stairs leads to a second double and the twin room, which has limited headroom.

The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and a separate breakfast room opens through French doors onto a small balcony with a bistro set for two. The living/dining room has a fire, and oil central heating covers the cottage, with fuel and power included in the rent.

A cot and highchair are available by request, and there's a garden across the lane from the cottage. One well-behaved dog is welcome, with a second considered on request. One parking space sits at the rear of the property, with further spaces in the Rock Inn car park next door. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop is 1.6 miles away with the pub right next door.
