Haytor

Ground-floor comfort at the foot of Haytor.

Haytor Vale Lodge sits close to the tor itself, with Bovey Tracey named as a separate, nearby town rather than part of Haytor. The property is arranged entirely on one level, with wooden floorboards, an open-plan lounge and diner furnished with period pieces, a Smart TV and a coal effect electric fire. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, air fryer, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher, while a separate utility room holds the washer/dryer and a table top freezer.

Two bedrooms are set at the far end of the lodge, one king-size and one twin, sharing a single Jack-and-Jill en-suite shower room with WC between them, plus a further shower room and WC off the hallway. Outside, a patio with garden furniture opens onto an enclosed garden and lawn, with a Belfast sink for rinsing off after walks. Off-road parking is available for two cars, and up to two dogs can stay, with a paddling pool provided for them in summer. Find full details at Haytor Vale Lodge.
