Chircombe Moorings

Chircombe Moorings is a ground-floor apartment forming part of a small block of four, set on the water's edge near Northam, with views across the estuary towards Instow and the Torridge Bridge. It sleeps four across two bedrooms and suits couples or a small family wanting a base close to the river.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner has a large corner sofa, a dining table for four and a TV/DVD player. The kitchen area sits to the rear with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, while a separate utility room holds the washing machine and tumble dryer. Wi-Fi is included, though it can be intermittent given the age of the building.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor: a king-size room and a twin, sharing one bathroom fitted with a shower over the bath and WC. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, making this a practical option for guests travelling with a young child.

Outside, a lawned garden runs down to the river and includes a BBQ and garden furniture, though access to the garden is shared with the property rather than exclusively private. Children need supervision near the water. There is off-road parking for three cars, and a pub and shop are within walking distance. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. Check-in is from 15:30 and check-out by 10:00.
