Lydford

A quiet base on the edge of Lydford village

Lydford is a village on the western edge of Dartmoor, distinct from the nearby town of Tavistock named in its address. Lydford Lodge sits just outside the village itself, offering a single-storey, open-plan layout designed for two guests. A screen partition separates the sleeping area, which has a super-king-size bed that can be arranged as twins on request, from the lounge and dining space.

Inside, the lounge has a Smart TV and DVD player, while the dining area includes a pine table and sideboard. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washer/dryer, and the shower room has a walk-in shower and WC. Outside, a lawned garden provides seating and a barbecue, with off-road parking available on site. The property is not suitable for babies or children, and dogs are not permitted.
