The Coach House

The Coach House sits at the end of a private farm lane on a 250-acre working farm near Lydford. Big windows and generous rooms run throughout, from an open fire in the living room to a piano in the dining room, which opens onto a patio, and a den with a wood burner and second TV for quieter evenings.

The house sleeps 11 across five bedrooms: two king-size doubles, one with an en-suite shower room, a twin, a single and a bunk room for the children, served by three bathrooms (two with a bath, one en-suite), plus a separate boot room with a shower for muddy farm days. Its own indoor swimming pool and a sauna are part of the property, on top of a shared outdoor heated pool, tennis court, games room and gym on the wider farm.

The kitchen is fitted with a microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer, tumble dryer, washing machine and dishwasher, and the garden has a barbecue. Central heating covers the house, and a laundry room, cloakroom and children's snug round out the ground floor. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Off-road parking covers 5 cars. Three well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not permitted. The shared outdoor pool runs seasonally from late May to mid September. The farm also offers clay pigeon shooting, archery and mountain biking, and Lydford itself has two food pubs within easy reach.
