The Red Barn

The Red Barn is a converted farm building at North Brentor, a stroll across the fields from the farmyard of Burnville Farm and a few miles from Lydford. The big living room has a wood-burning stove and French windows onto the terrace, and a lockable door off the kitchen leads to the property's own 'endless flow' indoor swimming pool with a treadmill and rowing machine.

The property sleeps 6 across three bedrooms upstairs, all en-suite with their own character: two king-size rooms with bath and WC, one with a handheld shower, and a twin room with a bath, handheld shower and WC. A downstairs WC and utility room add further convenience.

The kitchen has a dining area and is fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, tumble dryer, washing machine and dishwasher. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and the enclosed garden has a barbecue for outdoor meals. Guests also share the wider farm's tennis court, games room and gym, plus a seasonal outdoor heated pool.

Off-road parking covers 4 cars. Three well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not permitted throughout. A shop is around 2.6 miles away, with a pub about 2.9 miles and a river 0.6 miles from the property.
