Lydford Lodge

Lydford Lodge sits just outside the village of Lydford, on the western edge of Dartmoor, and offers single-storey, open-plan accommodation for two guests. The sleeping area is separated from the lounge by a screen partition rather than a solid wall, so this suits couples or two adults travelling together rather than groups needing separate rooms.

The bedroom area has a super-king-size bed which can be converted to twin beds on request via zip-and-link. The lounge is furnished with co-ordinating fabrics and includes a Smart TV and DVD player, while the dining area has a pine table and an antique sideboard. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and a washer/dryer, and a shower room with walk-in shower and WC completes the accommodation.

Outside there is a spacious lawned garden with outdoor seating and a BBQ provided, giving guests a quiet spot with countryside views. Off-road parking is available on site. A farm shop is under a mile away, and Tavistock and Okehampton, both around seven miles off, offer wider shopping, restaurants and cafes.

The property is not suitable for babies or children, and dogs are not permitted. Arrival is from 18:00 and departure is before 10:00.
