Dalwood

Palmers Cottage is a thatched Devon longhouse in the village of Dalwood, sleeping six across three bedrooms: a king-size, a double and a twin. Two bathrooms serve the party, one with a bath and separate shower, the other a shower room with WC. Exposed beams run throughout, while the kitchen centres on an island and breakfast bar beneath a semi-conservatory glass ceiling that draws in considerable natural light. Two separate staircases connect the floors in traditional longhouse fashion, and a pair of lounge spaces, one with Smart TV and sofas and one a quieter snug, give guests room to arrange themselves comfortably.

Outside, an enclosed lawn offers children space to play, with a summer house and adjoining decking housing a tumble dryer and BBQ. Private off-road parking for two cars is included, and a highchair and travel cot are available on request. A shop and pub are within very close reach of the cottage. Please note the log burners are not available for use due to the thatched insurance, and no dogs are permitted at this property.
