Little Evanses

On a hill overlooking Dalwood, with views from every room, Little Evanses is a detached, stone and timber-clad cottage converted from a barn on the owners' 10 acres of open land. The ground floor holds a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with huge glass doors framing the view over the surrounding hills.

A twin bedroom sits on the ground floor with its own en-suite shower room, fitted with a double shower, WC and basin. Up steep, narrow stairs in the eaves is a king-size double with an en-suite bathroom centred on a slipper bath, plus a hand shower, WC and basin.

The kitchen has a microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher, and there's a Smart TV with DVD and WiFi. Central heating runs alongside a wood burning stove, with fuel and power included in the rent. A cot and highchair are available on request, and there's a locking store for push bikes.

Little Evanses does not accept pets, and smoking is not permitted. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and the garden has a lawn, furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals. A footpath leads down through the fields into the village, where there's a shop and a pub, and a returnable bond applies.
