Shute

Shute is a hamlet in Devon, set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The accommodation here suits those looking for a genuinely rural stay, with footpaths leading directly from the properties into surrounding fields and woodland. The Retreat is a glamping pod for up to two guests, sited within the owner’s grounds and sleeping one couple in a curved-roof structure with open-plan living space, a compact kitchenette with hotplates, microwave and half-size fridge/freezer, and a bathroom with walk-in shower. Underfloor heating runs throughout.

Outside, a decked area with bistro chairs sits in front of the pod, with a lawn edged by mature hedges and fruit trees, sun loungers, and a gas-fired BBQ available in warmer months.
