Woodpecker Cottage

Woodpecker Cottage is a single-storey barn conversion in the countryside near Bradworthy, with an open-plan living space under a tall beamed ceiling and a woodburning stove for unwinding after a day out. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob and a microwave, with a shared utility room next door holding a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The double bedroom has an en-suite with a bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC. Electric storage heaters back up the woodburning stove, and fuel, power and a starter pack of logs are included in the rent, alongside bed linen and towels. A Smart TV with DVD player and Freeview, plus a selection of books and DVDs, cover the evenings in.

Outside, a private enclosed garden has its own furniture, with use of the shared gardens and a dog exercise field beyond it, plus secure bike storage in an exterior barn. Off-road parking covers one car. The cottage is adults only, with no children or infants, and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, kept on leads between the garden and the exercise field and never left alone in the cottage. No smoking is permitted, and a shop and pub are 2.4 miles away.
