Greenfinch

Greenfinch is a semi-detached, stone-fronted cottage attached to the owners' home near Bradworthy, on a working farm. It's built reverse-level, with the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area upstairs on the first floor, kept light and airy with wooden beams and exposed stonework, and a flame-effect electric fire for warmth.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor: a double and a single, sharing a family bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, plus a washing machine and tumble dryer in the shared utility. A Smart TV with Freeview, DVD and CD/radio covers the evenings, and electric storage heaters back up the electric fire. WiFi can be intermittent at times.

Outside, a private patio has its own furniture, with use of the shared gardens and a dog exercise field, plus secure bike storage. Off-road parking covers one car. The cottage is adults only, with no children or infants, and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, kept on leads between the garden and the exercise field and never left alone in the cottage. No smoking is permitted, and a shop and pub are 2.4 miles away.
