Wagtail

Wagtail is one of five single-storey cottages set around a shared courtyard near Bradworthy. The combined kitchen and sitting room keeps its exposed stonework, and a separate dining room gives space to plan the next day over a home-cooked meal. The double bedroom has storage for personal things, with a shower room next door holding a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob and a microwave, with a shared utility room holding the fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer used by the group of cottages. A TV with DVD player and Freeview, and a selection of books and DVDs, cover evenings in, and electric storage heaters provide the heat. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and WiFi is available on site, though signal indoors is limited.

Outside, a private enclosed garden has its own furniture, with use of the shared gardens and a dog exercise field, plus secure bike storage in an exterior barn. Off-road parking covers one car. The cottage is adults only, with no children or infants, and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, kept on leads between the garden and the exercise field and never left alone in the cottage. No smoking is permitted, and a shop and pub are 2.4 miles away.
