Single-storey Bradworthy barn conversion with a woodburner and Tamar views

Jenny Wren is a single-storey barn conversion on the outskirts of Bradworthy, with views across the surrounding landscape towards Tamar Lakes. The open-plan living space has a woodburning stove alongside the television, and a well-equipped kitchen opens onto a dining table for two.

Two internal steps lead down to the super-king-size bedroom, which has its own storage and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. There's a large step between the living space and the bedroom, worth knowing if anyone in your group struggles with steps. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge, with a communal freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a Smart TV with DVD player rounds out the living space. Electric storage heaters back up the woodburning stove, and fuel, power and a starter pack of logs are included in the rent.

Outside, a private enclosed garden has its own furniture, good for an evening with a bottle of wine, plus use of the larger shared gardens and a dog exercise field. Off-road parking covers one car, with secure bike storage in an exterior barn. The cottage takes no children or infants and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, kept on leads between the garden and the exercise field and never left alone in the cottage. No smoking is permitted. A shop is 2.5 miles away and a pub 2.6 miles off, and WiFi can be intermittent at times.
