Honey Bee Cottage

Honey Bee Cottage is a single-storey converted granary on a smallholding on the outskirts of Bradworthy, overlooking Upper Tamar Lake. The open-plan living space keeps its exposed wooden beams and original stonework from the former farm building, with an electric fire for warmth and a rustic wooden kitchen opening onto a dining table for two.

The king-size bedroom has an antique four-poster bed, exposed beams and stonework, and its own en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, and the sitting area has a Smart TV with Freeview, a DVD player and a selection of books. Laundry runs through a shared utility with a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. WiFi is available, though it can be intermittent given the rural setting.

Outside, the cottage has its own enclosed garden with a lawn and furniture, plus use of a shared garden, a dog-walking field and secure bike storage. Off-road parking covers one car. The property is adults only, with no children or infants, and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, kept on a lead between the garden and the exercise field and never left alone in the cottage. No smoking is permitted. A shop is 2.5 miles away and a pub 2.6 miles off.
