Woodhams Mews

Woodhams Mews is a first-floor cottage in Shaldon, sleeping four across two bedrooms: one king-size and one double. A flight of stairs leads up from the ground floor, so the property is not suitable for anyone unable to manage steps. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

The open-plan living area has comfortable sofas, a TV and a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A dining table brings the group together for meals. The double bedroom has its own small TV and a Juliette balcony, while one bathroom with shower over the bath serves both rooms.

To the rear, an enclosed balcony fitted with a bistro table and chairs provides a sheltered spot for morning coffee. Parking for one car sits in the garage below, which also houses a washing machine, an outdoor tap and an on-site EV charger.

A butcher, bakery, pubs and cafes are within a few minutes' walk of the cottage. Ness Cove Beach, accessed through a smugglers' tunnel, is roughly half a mile on foot. A ferry or short drive crosses the Teign estuary to Teignmouth, about a mile away, where a sandy beach and historic pier offer a full day out.
