Valley View

This modern house sits in a quiet cul-de-sac in the residential edge of Colyton, reached by steps up from the road. It sleeps six across four bedrooms: the master has a super king bed that can be made into twins on request, along with an en-suite bathroom and views over the water meadows towards Musbury. There is also a double room, a twin room and a single room, served by a family bathroom with a whirlpool bath and shower, plus a separate ground-floor WC.

The kitchen/diner is fitted with an electric double oven, microwave and American-style fridge/freezer, giving a practical hub for cooking and eating together. A washing machine is also provided. The lounge has a wood burner, with logs supplied for one fire from the beginning of October until the end of March, and a Smart TV with DVD player; the kitchen has a separate TV with Freeview and radio.

Outside, an enclosed rear garden with lawn and terraces offers seating and a charcoal barbecue, while an open-plan garden sits at the front of the house. Parking is available on site for two cars. Note that children often use the cul-de-sac as a cut-through, so care is needed when driving in, and there are steps up to the front door.

A pub and shop are within half a mile and the beach around three miles away, though beach towels are not supplied and guests should bring their own. Internet access is available. This property does not accept dogs, and maximum occupancy is strictly six.
