Musbury

A converted village bakery with beamed rooms and an enclosed garden

Musbury is a village in Devon, set apart from the town of Seaton named in nearby marketing descriptions. Old Bakery Cottage sits within it, a converted property retaining exposed beams, a vaulted ceiling and stonework from its former life as the village bakery. The ground-floor hallway holds a washing machine and space for coats, boots and bikes, with the main accommodation arranged on the first floor around an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner.

The cottage sleeps five across three bedrooms: a king-size room, a twin with a Juliet balcony, and a single with its own en-suite shower room, alongside a further bathroom with shower over bath. The kitchen is fully equipped for family cooking, and the lounge has a wood burner and Smart TV. Outside, an enclosed garden includes a paved courtyard for outdoor dining and a lawn reached by a few steps down, with off-road parking available subject to availability and space for up to two dogs.
