The Old Barn

The Old Barn is a reverse-level barn conversion at Tritchayne Farm, a short distance from Colyton in the East Devon AONB. It sleeps 5 across three ground-floor bedrooms, with the kitchen and living space upstairs, and is one of five cottages on the same site.

All three bedrooms are on the ground floor: a king-size with an en-suite bath, handheld shower, basin and WC, a twin that zip-links to a double on request, and a single, plus a separate ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Upstairs, an open-plan space holds the kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove and Smart TV.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a barbecue, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and electric central heating covers the cottage, with the starter pack for the woodburner included in the rent. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and a private garden to the rear gives space for outdoor meals, alongside a shared picnic area and play field for the wider farm.

The Old Barn welcomes up to three well-behaved pets. Smoking is not permitted, and there's a designated car park on site. The shop and pub are around a mile away, and there is a pond on site.
