Torridge House

Torridge House sleeps six across three bedrooms and sits near Instow, close to Bideford. The ground floor is arranged around a lounge/diner with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and Bluetooth sound bar, plus a dining room with room for the whole party to eat together. A well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, along with an enclosed area leading out to the courtyard, useful for drying off wet dogs after a beach walk. A separate WC completes this floor.

Upstairs are all three bedrooms: a super-king-size zip-and-link room that can be made up as a twin on request, complete with its own Smart TV and en-suite toilet, a double room and a twin room. A shared shower room with WC serves these two remaining bedrooms.

Outside, the courtyard includes a hot and cold outdoor shower for rinsing sandy feet and paws, and a fully lit shared path leads to a private enclosed garden with garden furniture, a small lawn and a charcoal barbecue, reached via five steps in total or through gated side access. A garden shed is available for storing bikes or surfboards. Inside, a woodburner is fitted, with a first basket of logs provided between October and April.

Parking is limited to roadside spaces subject to availability, though a public car park and a private car park are close by at a charge, and the owner can arrange a further private parking option a five-minute walk away, also at a charge. Wi-Fi is included via fibre broadband, and a travel cot and highchair are provided for younger guests. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. Beach, shop and pub are all within walking distance.
