The Gallery

The Gallery is a reverse-level cottage converted by an architect, about 1.2 miles from Aveton Gifford within the Chantry Cottages group of converted farm buildings. The cottage sleeps 4 across two ground-floor bedrooms, both en-suite.

Steps lead up to the top-floor living space, sited there for the views over the surrounding countryside, with a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings and a big kitchen next door. Below, the super king-size double has its own en-suite shower room, and the king-size double, which converts to a 2'6" twin, has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower over.

The kitchen has a microwave, fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob, washing machine and dishwasher, with a TV with DVD and WiFi, and fuel and power included in the rent. A highchair is available on request. Outside, the cottage has its own secluded enclosed garden beside the meadows, plus access to a larger shared garden and courtyard used by the other Chantry Cottages, where children should be supervised.

Off-road parking is provided for two cars. The Gallery does not accept pets and is no smoking throughout, and the property draws on a private water supply that is tested regularly. A shop is 1.2 miles away and a pub 1.4 miles.
