The Hideaway

The Hideaway is a single-storey annexe attached to the owner's farmhouse on the outskirts of Aveton Gifford, on a working farm with valley views. The annexe sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and one shower room, and has recently been fitted with Starlink WiFi for a strong connection throughout.

An open-plan living space holds the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with underfloor heating run from an oil boiler. The kitchen has an electric oven and induction hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. At each end of the annexe sit the two bedrooms: a king-size room with valley views, which can convert to twins, and a twin room, which can convert to a king-size bed. The shower room has a walk-in shower, a hand-held shower attachment, a heated towel rail and a basin.

Outside, an enclosed, lawned garden with a patio gives space to sit out and take in the surroundings. Off-road parking is provided for one car, and a highchair and a travel cot with a mattress are both available on request.

The Hideaway does not take pets, and smoking is not permitted. The village shop is 1.7 miles away and the nearest pub 1.9 miles, and the annexe sits alongside a busy working farm, attached to the farmhouse itself.
