Reverse-level barn conversion in Loddiswell with a woodburning stove

Crosscombe Barn is a reverse-level barn conversion in the village of Loddiswell, within the South Hams, near Aveton Gifford. Loddiswell has a village shop, a pub and a restored former mill with a garden centre, restaurant and deli. The property's layout puts the three bedrooms on the ground floor and the kitchen, dining and sitting areas upstairs, sleeping 5 across two bathrooms.

Downstairs, choose from a double, a twin with its own en-suite walk-in shower, and a single with a truckle bed beneath, plus a family bathroom with a bath and shower over. Each bedroom has plenty of storage space. There is an internal step on the ground floor, worth noting when booking. Upstairs, the open-plan living space is framed by exposed beams and warmed by a woodburning stove.

The kitchen is fitted for self-catering, with the dining table close by for family meals, and a utility room takes care of laundry. Oil-fired central heating runs through the property. Outside, a lawned garden sits away from the house, with a separate furnished courtyard at the front for morning coffee.

Crosscombe Barn takes one well-behaved dog. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and the village shop and pub in Loddiswell are both within walking distance. Arrivals run on a Friday or Monday changeover only, and EV charging is not permitted on site. The property has a ring doorbell, and smoking is not allowed.
