The Dairy

The Dairy is a single-storey annexe on the outskirts of Malborough, reached down a narrow country lane and up a short flight of steps from the private driveway. It sleeps 2 in a super king-size bedroom with an A-framed ceiling and ample storage, and this is an adults-only property.

The open-plan living space holds original features, a woodburning stove with a starter pack provided and further logs for sale on site, plush seating, a TV and a small kitchen area with an electric oven, two-ring hob, fridge and dishwasher. A front terrace with a bench, table and chairs looks over the surrounding countryside, a good spot to watch the sun go down.

The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Gas central heating runs throughout, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Parking for one car is shared with the owners, and hardstanding for a small boat or trailer is available on site for a daily supplement.

The Dairy does not accept pets: it sits on the owner's smallholding, which keeps livestock and its own dog. Stone steps lead to the entrance and are not suited to less able-bodied guests. Smoking is not permitted, and the nearest shop and pub are around a mile away, with the beach 0.9 miles.
