St Leonards

St Leonards sits on Shadycombe Road, a short walk from Salcombe's waterfront, shops and restaurants, and close to the passenger ferry across to the beaches at East Portlemouth and Millbay. The house sleeps 4 across a king-size bedroom and a twin room, with a family bathroom on the first floor. A fireplace and integrated DVD player make the sitting room a good spot to settle in after a day on the water.

The open-plan kitchen and dining room has a range of modern appliances and a round table that seats six, with French doors opening onto the rear terrace. A further flight of steep stairs leads up to a second-floor snug and playroom designed for children, worth planning around if anyone in your group finds stairs difficult.

The kitchen is fitted with a fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, and gas-fired central heating runs through the house, with fuel and power included in the rent. A cot and highchair are available for younger guests, and a TV with an integrated DVD player plus WiFi cover the evenings in. Bed linen and towels are also included.

Off-road parking is allocated for one car, and an enclosed courtyard at the rear has a table and chairs for eating outside. The shop is 0.1 miles from the door, the pub 0.2 miles and the beach 0.4 miles, so daily essentials and a walk to the water are both close by. St Leonards takes no pets and is strictly no smoking throughout.
