Springwell Lodge

Springwell Lodge is a first-floor holiday coach-house in the village of Ide, close to Exeter and within reach of Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks. It sleeps 2 in a single king-size bedroom with its own walk-in wardrobe, and comes with a private garden that includes a hot tub.

The bathroom has a bath and a walk-in shower, so there's a choice of a quick rinse or a long soak after a day out. The open-plan living space brings together the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, giving a comfortable base for relaxing after exploring the countryside, and the garden beyond has a lawn, furniture and the hot tub for evenings outdoors under the stars.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, coffee maker and toaster, and there's a TV and WiFi in the sitting area. Secure, gated off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am, and the owner notes some road noise from the property's location.

Springwell Lodge takes one well-behaved dog, which should not be left unattended. Smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop is 1.3 miles away and the nearest pub 0.4 miles, and Exeter's quayside and underground passages make an easy day trip from the lodge.
